Centring around the Anglo-Greek songwriting partnership of frontwoman Erianna Lagkouvardou and guitarist Benjie Fielding, Wanderlust set out to capture universal human emotions in their music. Indeed, the concept behind their debut EP Reflections (released May 2017 on innovative new label Northern Quarter Records) is that the music acts as a mirror that reflects the listener’s own feelings back at them, in turn allowing them to discover something new about themselves. A 7-piece band creates distinctive multi-layered textures behind Erianna’s vocal, resulting in an overall alt-pop sound that draws on everything from Pink Floyd to Sia.
